17 EMERGENCy pRoCEdUREs The Australian Turf Club’s aim is to provide the best facilities to ensure your safety, comfort and enjoyment. The Club has developed comprehensive procedures to deal with any unexpected emergency situation that may arise. Our staff are trained and experienced in dealing with emergencies and evacuations. They are dressed in ATC uniforms at various points throughout the racecourse. Assisting in an emergency will also be security staff and Police officers. Unless you are instructed otherwise, the Emergency Assembly Areas are located on the map below: In the event of an emergency, please remember: (1) Follow the directions of the Emergency Wardens; (2) Move quickly and quietly to the designated Safe Assembly Areas.
