1 Chairman’s Welcome Welcome to Affinity Electrical Technologies Canberra Mile Day. The $150,000 Canberra Mile also provides ballot exemption for the 1st and 2nd place getters into the TAB Canberra Cup. Today provides a launching pad for the Canberra Carnival in a fortnight’s time with many horses running in preview races today in preparation for our big two days of racing on March 8th and 9th. Today’s race meeting welcomes the 16th running of the Members Tipping Competition. It’s free to play and available only to members of the Club. To win, you ‘simply’ need to pick the last six winners on the card through the Club’s website. Of course, picking six winners isn’t easy but we’ve had a number of near misses with members correctly selecting 5 out of 6 in previous weeks! The prize pool has jackpotted to $16,000. If it is not won today an additional $1,000 will be added to the pool per meeting until it reaches a total prize pool of $100,000. Full terms and conditions are available on the website.
